Established in 2020, the AGT Start Up Competition is an annual start-up competition that encourages entrepreneurship & innovation in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. It is supported by advisors from BP and private/public innovation and incubation centres in Azerbaijan.
Azar Bayramov is a digitalization and innovation executive and technology evangelist, he is Adviser to Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Before joining Agency, he worked as Executive Director at the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He was also the Chairman of the UNCTAD Intergovernmental Expert Group on E-commerce and Digital Economy. Having extensive experience in management and operations of national and international programmes on digitalization and innovation policies, he is involved in the development of startup ecosystem in Azerbaijan.
I’m sociable by nature with an eye for the eclectic. I enjoy being around others and are especially attracted to the creative world. The lead in the play, the artistic mind power behind the big idea, or the performer, I’m always shine. Others are drawn to me and admire me. I am thrive out in the world and appreciate being surrounded by other people. The only exception to this is when I am working in the creative realm, finding myself completely engrossed in a project for hours at a time.
